Chestnut. OK off white head as poured, with good retention and some solid layers. Nutty-sweet Bitter malt aroma. Similar taste and after. Slightly creamy. Nothing against a traditional Bitter, this is just a slightly dull example of one.

Chestnut. Very good off-white head as poured, good retention with halo and good lacing. Bit sour, nutty Bitter aroma, hint of yeast? Cocoa Bitter, bread heft, ale. Hoppier after. A decent, drinkable Traditional Bitter if a bit bready.
