Raspberry Blonde [NBC with The Black Bull, Liversedge] - Riverhead

Rated on 2024-10-19 by BeerDorkNik at The Dispensary, Liverpool

Quality: 50.5, Enjoyability: 49, Overall: 49.75

Reddish amber. OK head as poured, with good retention and semi-solid lacing. Fraintly fuirty aroma. Very week raspberry juice taste and after. Riverhead is owned by Ossett, but apparently run as a separate brewery. The Black Bull is an Ossett pub, so not MUCH of an outside collaboration there...

Harlequin - Lancaster Brewery

Rated on 2023-10-16 by BeerDorkNik at Childwall Fiveways

Quality: 57, Enjoyability: 52.5, Overall: 54.75

Gold. Little head as served (possibly badly poured, or topped up to get rid of head...), with OK retention and good lacing. Sweet, light, citrusy taste, bit fruity after but not 'mango' especially.

Used our Loaf Raspberry Fruit Beer [for M&S] - Adnam's

Rated on 2018-05-22 by BeerDorkNik at M&S

Quality: 54.3, Enjoyability: 52.3, Overall: 53.3

Made with leftover M&S bread. I think I approve of the idea, shame all the bread-beers Ive had have been bland at best. Not wanting to put too much on the drinker at once?
