Black cherry. Good off-white head on pour, but very little surface retention and no lacing. Dank, nutty, bit boozy malt aroma. Sweeter chocolate taste, bramble fruit and a slight ?lemon? Note. Lighter finish, quite crisp given the aroma and sense of 'heft'.

Red black. Good light tan head as poured, halo and some surface retention with good lacing. Burbon and maple aroma. Hefty. Treaccle malt, hint of maple. Nutty, but may just've been expecting pecan. Smoky burbon after.
