Copper-amber, with a good head on pour. Bright, hoppy, bit celery(?) aroma. Similar taste and after - bright, crisp and hoppy. Wet, with sharp effervescence.

Light amber. Some head as poured, with some retention but very little lacing. No real aroma, too cold. Slight rye-pepper taste and after. Some sharp effervescence.

Light amber or dark gold, with an OK creamy head as poured. Light, fruity, floral hop aroma. Similar taste and after. Is this REALLY the best pub in Liverpool? CAMRA's standards and mine are very different. Sure, it's quaint, but 3 interesting guest pumps and 5-6 of bog standard shite do not a great pub make. The 'Handpump Hijack' is a luagh, considering some of the pish they let slide as 'Real Ale'.
