Highlander - T3G

Rated on 2011-06-17 by BeerDorkNik at Brewer

Quality: 81, Enjoyability: 80, Overall: 80.5

Opaque, mahogany beer with an alcoholic - whisky or possibly lighter fluid - aroma, not BAD, just a bit strong. Fruity, almost port-like taste, milk chocolate after. A sipper', rather than a 'gulper'.

Quality: 64, Enjoyability: 64, Overall: 64

Dark, chocolate brown, colour and a strong whiskey smell (I DON'T LIKE WHISKEY!) Velvety texture and an oddly chocolate taste. Hints of strawberry in after. 'Taste' score may have been inflated due to surprise after smell. Couldn't drink a lot of.

High Commissioner - T3G

Rated on 2009-10-25 by BeerDorkNik at Brewer

Quality: 58.5, Enjoyability: 62, Overall: 60.25

Tar-black spiced treacley Highly sweet taste (Actually, its not so much that its too sweet, as it tastes like very sweet things, without actually having the sweetness) treacly after Brewed with whiskey, but the flavour isn't apparent - unless its simply keeping the sweetness in check...

On A High - T3G

Rated on 2009-09-26 by BeerDorkNik at Brewer

Quality: 62, Enjoyability: 65, Overall: 63.5

Cloudy and medium brown. Harsh, spice (allspice, or possibly nutmeg) aroma with grassy (as in 'lawn') undertones. Similarly spiced and grassy taste, oily - Hemp oil? - followed by a long-after taste of something like cigarettes. Cannabis ale. Not an easy drink, but not impossible or even particularly unpleasant.
