Black. Some tan foam on pour, dispersing, very thin halo retention but no lacing. Dark roast coffee aroma, lactic creamy under. Slightly burnt coffee taste and after. Tiny sharp bubbles. Too wet and burnt tasting to be ‘rich’ but maybe it was just too cold, and too late in the session, to appreciate it? Or, maybe it was just a bit shit. Gold. Good head on pour, little retention and no real lacing. Sulphur, sweet, hint of toffee, maybe a bit of bitter coffee, aroma. Caramel/taoffee taste, creamy after. No real coffee beyond hint in aroma.
