Quality: 75, Enjoyability: 71, Overall: 73

Black. Some dark tan heead as poured, very little retentiona but some lacing. Burbon barrel, spiced. 'Mexicake' is the modifier, so a sort of ginger/cinnamon spiced rich fruitcake, with treacle and possibly cocoa. Spice after. 11% may've been a bad choice for first beer of the night.(Note: Pub was formerly 'Craft Taproom'.)
