Quality: 50.5, Enjoyability: 51, Overall: 50.75
Gold. Good creamy head as poured, with OK retention and good lacing. Soapy, floral aroma, hint of biscuit? Similar taste, honey after. Been here, many years ago, (9.5ish, in fact!) and it hasn't really changed. Down a back alley, very traditional, bit of a locals pub perhaps, big dog wandering round. Nice enough, but not wher I'd want to spend an entire night.
