Black, obviously. Slightly sickly looking clumpy tan head as poured, with nearly complete retention and solid lacing. Surprisingly mild - but pleasant - vanilla, roast malt aroma. Cocoa roast malt - again, mild for 7.4% - taste, with a liquid-free, vanilla similar after. Smooth.
