Quality: 53.5, Enjoyability: 45, Overall: 49.25
Hazy, slightly peach amber. Large foam head on pour, ¾ surface retention loose in the other ¼, with good loose lacing. Nutty, Millionaire’s Shortbread, oaty aroma. Chestnut, caramel, chocolate taste and after, but not as good as that sounds. Bit caramel thick. Much more of a ‘Winter’ ale than I’d expected from look.
