Black. OK dark tan head as poured, with thin halo retention and good lacing. Chocolate fudge malt aroma. Chocolate cake taste, with drier, cocoa malt, lasting after. Silky, with some peppery effervescence, bot not as fudgey as I’d expected from aroma - maybe a higher ABV would’ve given it a bit more ‘bite’?
