Black. Little off white head as poured, with OK retention of what there was but extremely little lacing. Chocolate cake aroma, developing strong fudge. Bit chewy, chocolate cake taste, developing more fudge as it warms, with a drier cocoa after. Some heft to it, but honestly less than expected.
