Amber. Good head on pour, with very little halo retention and no lacing. Initial strong 'beer' aroma, more dried fruit, spice in close. Slight warming spice taste, fruity malt after.

Slightly hazy, light gold. Lively pour, OK surfae and halo retention with good loose lacing. Dried orange peel aroma, bit clove (?spice). Dry, hefty citrus taste, warm citrus-spice after. Now quite what I was expecting, but odly .. Comforting?

Opaque chestnut. OK off white head as poured, with very good retention and some clumpy lacing. Malty Lager aroma backbone, with a fruity top. Warm, spiced, dried fruit, chocolate malt taste and after. Bit viscous, with a tingly effervescence.

Rich amber-gold. Very good off white head on pour, OK halo and some surface retention but very little lacing. Tannic, warm, malty aroma. Similar taste and after, warming somehow. Viscous, slightly fruitcake.

Black. Some off white head on pour, halo and little surface retention with good lacing. Rich, creamy chocolate aroma, hint of dry spice. Warm chocolate taste - as in spice, not temperature - and a creamy similar after. Thinner than expected, but a bit creamy. Bit of building, lasting heat.
