Red-black. Large creamy pour, large settled head, good retention and little solid lacing. Slightly bitter roast, gassy, wet aroma. Shame it wasn't peaty, or that'd've been all 4 elements. Similar taste - creamy when you taste the head, watery burnt coffee otherwise, bit malty/cocoa under. Not BAD, just dull-ish. Can contains a draught pour widget, which is probably the most intersting thing about it. Draws explicit connection to Guinness ('Not made in 1759. What if it's better?', been a while since I had Guinness, but surely it can't be worse than this) - joining Lost lager in insulting popular beers?

A 'cola bottle stout', and exactly how you'd expect that to taste. Interesting more than good, perhaps.

Like tomato stalks soak in TCP, but better than that sounds. Can't say _nicer_ as such, as it's a pretty solid drink for such a vague qualifier, but definitley _better_.

Was hoping a 'Sureal Stout' would be, like, neon green or something. Maybe a bit more interesting than a basically competent stout.

Barstaff CANNOT draw cask... Also, end of cask I think. Probably OK fresher, bit too vinegary now. (Later experience suggest NOT end of cask, just shit cellaring.)

Bit heavy - again, cake-like - to be easily drinkable, but really nice. Even seems to have 'layers', like biting through icing and sponge. Note to self: need to go to Daphna's...

Very dark ruby beer. Burnt aroma. Rich flavour with cinder toffee-liquorice notes. Similar after. Served cold, took time to warm and develop flavours.

Dark, dark red beer, with a rich coffee-chocolate aroma. Rich, thick taste and after. A richer, deeper version of "Williamss Red".
